Sabotaging telecom infra as form of protest strongly condemned: COAI

 

Industry body COAI on Tuesday "firmly censured" the subverting of telecom network framework and disturbance of administrations as a type of dissent, after more than 1,500 portable pinnacles were focused during ranchers' mix in Punjab.

Naming telecom benefits as "life saver" for lakhs of clients, COAI's Director General, SP Kochhar said disturbance of telecom administrations is making tremendous burden the average person, for whom versatile administrations are "basic".

"While we regard individuals' entitlement to dissent on any issue, attacking the telecom network foundation and disturbing telecom administrations as a type of dissent by anybody is emphatically denounced," COAI said in an assertion.
