Samsung logs 10% share of global feature phone market in Q3 this year

 

Samsung Electronics represented 10% of the worldwide component telephone market in the second from last quarter this year, a report said on Wednesday.

Worldwide component telephone shipments declined 17 percent on-year to 74 million units in the July-September period, as indicated by economic specialist Counterpoint Research.

Samsung had a 10 percent share in the element telephone market in the second from last quarter, imparting third spot to China's Tecno Mobile, an auxiliary of Transsion Group.

Another Transsion brand, iTel, drove the component telephone market with a 24 percent share, trailed by Finnish telephone producer HMD Global with a 14 percent share, information appeared.
