Meta took down over 27 million pieces of bad content in India in March

Meta (previously Facebook) brought down 24.6 million bits of content across 13 approaches for Facebook and over 2.7 million bits of content across 12 arrangements for Instagram in the period of March, as per the IT Rules 2021.

Between March 1-31, Meta got 656 reports through the Indian complaint system for Facebook, and answered 100% of those reports.

"Of these approaching reports, we gave apparatuses to clients to determine their issues in 556 cases," Meta said in its consistence report.

For Instagram, the organization got 1,150 reports through the Indian complaint component, and it answered 100% of those 1,150 reports.

Of these reports, Meta gave devices to clients to determine their issues in 556 cases.

"Of the other 594 reports where specific survey was required, we inspected content according to our arrangements, and we made a move on 20 reports altogether," the organization informed.
