Bharti Infratel defers board meet to decide on merger with Indus Towers

Bharti Infratel has conceded its board meet on Thursday that was to choose its merger with Indus Towers.
The Board of the telecom framework organization was to take an official conclusion on the plan of game plan with Indus Towers. In an administrative recording, the organization said that it would "unquestionably" hold the board meet at the very latest the long stop date of June 24.
"Certain data sources that would have been required by the Board for it to think and take a ultimate conclusion have been postponed given the present condition. Taking into account the equivalent, the said Board meeting has been rescheduled for a later date however unquestionably at the very latest the current long stop date of 24th June 2020," it said.
On June 4, Infratel had said that there can be no assurance whether the merger will get finished or not, with each gathering holding the option to end and pull back the plan anytime.
This was the fourth delay of the cutoff time for merger, which was at first expected to finish by March 2019.

Portions of the Bharti Infratel fell on Thursday. At 11.43 a.m., it was exchanging at Rs 226.15, lower by Rs 6.80 or 2.92 percent from its past close.
