Odisha coronavirus update: State reports 3,219 Covid cases, 11 more deaths

 

Odisha on Wednesday announced

3,219 new COVID-19 cases, taking the states count to 1,09,780, a Health Department official said.

The loss of life rose to 514 with 11 new fatalities, he said.

A large portion of the new cases were identified in Khurda where 731 individuals tried positive, trailed by Cuttack (400), Puri (217) and Balasore (194). Complete nine locale detailed in excess of 100 cases.

Ganjam revealed three of the new passings, two individuals lost their lives in Khurda and one patient each kicked the bucket in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Rayagada and Sambalpur regions.

A large portion of the passings have been accounted for from Ganjam where 194 individuals have kicked the bucket up until now, the authority said.

There are 28,443 dynamic cases in the state at present, while 80,770 patients have recuperated.

The state has so far tried over 18.19 lakh tests for COVID-19, remembering 51,245 for Tuesday, the authority said.
