Governing Council to chalk out 'final plan' for IPL 2020 in Aug 2 meeting

The exceptionally significant Governing Council meeting of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to occur on Sunday. IPL Chairman Brijesh Patel had just educated that the gathering would occur this week and the notification has now been sent to the GC individuals.
Addressing news organization IANS, an authority of the IPL GC affirmed that the gathering will be hung on August 2. "We have been educated that the IPL GC will occur on Sunday and all issues identified with the association of the IPL 2020 will be examined in the gathering," the authority said.
The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) affirmed on Monday that they have gotten the official Letter of Intent from the BCCI to have the 2020 release of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
"We have gotten the (official) letter and now look out for the choice from the Indian Government which will ink the last arrangement," said Mubashshir Usmani, Emirates Cricket Board Secretary General, in a public statement.

While the board hangs tight for notice from BCCI that the Indian Government has affirmed to move the IPL from India (to the UAE), Usmani expressed the two sheets have completely assembled and have prompted conversations with the applicable specialists, including their separate inward working-advisory groups, in readiness of facilitating the competition (promoted as beginning September 19 with the last proposed for November 8) in a sheltered, ensured condition.
